PATRICK HENRY COURT DRAINAGE PROJECT UPDATE 8/7/2025:
Utility Relocation Begins Monday, August 11:
The RSA contractor is scheduled to begin excavation and installation of the new water line on Monday, August 11, weather permitting.
Tie-in of the new section will take place on Tuesday, August 12, weather permitting.
Residents on Patrick Henry Ct. and the 700 block of Yorktown Blvd. may experience a water service interruption for up to 8 hours on Tuesday.
Yorktown Blvd. Construction (Aug. 13–15):
Steady Construction will continue manhole structure and pipeline work along Yorktown Blvd. from Wednesday through Friday, aiming to reopen the road to traffic by Friday, August 15.
Upcoming Work at Patrick Henry Ct. Intersection:
The pipeline crossover at the intersection of Patrick Henry Ct. and Yorktown Blvd. is scheduled for the week of August 18. Expect temporary lane closures and short-term full closures during that work.
More detailed information will be shared next week.
Hollyfield Park Updates:
- Grading and seeding work is ongoing at the water detention facility.
- Erosion and sediment control fencing will remain in place until new grass is established.
- The Hollyfield Park playground remains closed, with plans to reopen in early September.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE:
Yorktown Blvd. remains closed to thru traffic between the intersection of Patrick Henry Ct. and Fairfax Lane.LOWA will notify members as soon as the road reopens.
