Pickleball & Tennis Courts

The outdoor pickleball and tennis courts are located at Hollyfield Park, which is located off Yorktown Boulevard. The six pickleball courts are lighted, state-of-the-art courts and two of the tennis courts are lighted and two are soft surface courts without lights.

Monday  – Sunday : 7 AM – 11 PM
The one indoor pickleball court is located in the Marion Pronk Hall at the Community Center, which is located on 110 Sweetbriar Park Road.

Monday and Wenesday 10:30 AM – 3 PM
Friday 12 PM  – 3 PM
7 AM – 3 PM, Tuesday and Thursday.

Play & Procedures

LOW has six lighted pickleball courts and four tennis courts with two lighted, all located at Hollyfield Park. Two of the tennis courts are soft surface courts. Locking the courts is the responsibility of the players after the completion of their play. Rules and procedures for outdoor play are posted at the courts.

All LOW members must pay an amenity fee, either Individual, Family or Junior (18 and younger). Annual amenity fees are from May 1 to April 30. Prorated fees (50% off) start November 1.

  • There is an annual member amenity fee to use the pickleball and tennis courts (combined fee) and a  registration form.
  • Daily Fees are as follows and the form is available.
  • Play at any facility requires payment of either the annual Pickleball/Tennis amenity fee or the daily fee of $5.00 per person.
  • The pickleball and tennis outdoor courts are accessible with passcode which is available with payment of the annual amenity fee.
  • A key is available for outdoor play at the Community Center, Holcomb Building or Security Building at the front gate for all others with payment of  the daily fee.

The outdoor courts are strictly for pickleball and tennis use only and non-marking athletic shoes must be worn for play. Please be certain the gates are locked up after use to prevent vandalism or other unauthorized activities. Children should not be left on the courts unsupervised. Animals are not allowed on the courts at all times.

Lessons and Social Clubs

Pickleball and tennis activities are organized and promoted by the Pickleball/Tennis Advisory Committee.
Many of the Lake of the Woods (LOW) players are either members of the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) and/or members of the U. S. Tennis Association (USTA). 

The LOW Pickleball Club (LOWPBC) offers free pickleball lessons indoors every Thursdays and one Saturday a month in the Marion Pronk Hall at the Community Center. Please check the Calendar of Events in the Lake Currents for the times and up to date information. All equipment is provided. Please wear good court, non-marking athletic shoes. Running shoes are not recommended. The LOWPBC has a Social Committee which arranges many fun activities throughout the year, including an annual picnic at Sweetbriar Park.

Tennis has one professional who is a Professional Tennis Association (PTA)-certified professional instructor, offering in-season outdoor clinics, group lessons and private lessons for both adults and children. Members must pre-register and pay any associated instruction fees. Rules and procedures for tennis play are posted at the outdoor courts. Informal groups include women’s intermediate doubles most mornings, men’s intermediate doubles on Tuesday & Friday mornings and open tennis on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM year-round. Tennis socials are held on the second Saturday of each month and are open to all during the summer (April to October). The tennis schedule is published in the Lake Currents.
