ENVIRONMENTAL: Environmental Resources Manager. Full-time salaried position to provide expertise and make management decisions for lakes and surface water issues. Responsibilities include: budgetary and personnel items pertaining to lakes, marinas, stormwater management, and regulation enforcement. Position conducts monitoring, research, data collection, and analysis related to lakes and tributaries for implementing long-term watershed management strategies, operating two dams in accordance with VA regulations. Required skills include GIS, technical writing, interpreting environmental data and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Required: minimum of B.S. in limnology, biology, ecology, environmental science, natural resources management or other closely related field. Two-three years’ experience in management of water resources.

MAINTENANCE: Capital Projects Manager, Full-Time Hourly. This position is responsible for the following:  Preparing bid requests; Overseeing all aspects of capital projects design, development and implementation; Preparing/reviewing cost estimates, scope, schedule, budgets; Coordinating/obtaining regulatory approvals and permits; and, ensuring completeness and accuracy in bid specifications. Requirements include: College degree preferable in Architecture or Engineering, VA licensed Architect or Engineer, demonstrable extensive capital projects management, procurement, financial management and reserve studies knowledge, minimum ten years’ experience in project management.
Grounds Full-Time Hourly Positions. Join the crew and assist in performing general landscaping maintenance tasks for routine and special events. Must have experience in operation of basic grounds care equipment. Positions requires heavy lifting and working in all weather conditions.

CLUBHOUSE:  Servers, Part-Time. Must have excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and energy. Work schedule includes the hours of 4-10 PM Wednesday through Sunday along with some holidays. If you are 18 and older, have a positive, outgoing personality and are a team player, this job is for you. Some restaurant experience preferred.
Grill Cook, Part-Time. To accurately prepare and cook a variety of meats, poultry, and seafood as well as vegetables and other food items using various kitchen equipment. Duties include plating and garnishing. Complying with Clubhouse standards for portion sizes, cooking methods, and other policies essential. 2 yrs. min. experience.

FAREWAYS CAFE:  Servers. Part-Time. Candidates must be 18 years or older and able to work flexible hours including weekends. Some restaurant experience preferred. Good communication skills and team spirit important.

Evening Shift Line Cooks. Part-Time. Prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently and portion food prior to cooking. One year experience is preferred, good communication skills, ability to work flexible hours and a team spirit.

EQUESTRIAN CENTER:  Stable Worker, Part-Time. The successful, dependable candidates will assist with barn chores, cleaning stalls and paddocks, cleaning and filling water tubs, feeding the horses and blanketing when weather requires. Assisting with pony rides, parties, trail rides, shows, and other special events. Previous experience working with Equines required.
