PRO SHOP – Part-Time Pro Shop Attendant needed to provide excellent customer service to our golfers. Positive outgoing personality required. Salesmanship and conversational golf knowledge a plus. Requirements include: create tee times, stock golf merchandise and supplies, schedule lessons and check players into system and assist with tournaments. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.

CLUBHOUSE – All openings are for Part-Time employment:
Dishwashers. Now hiring Dishwashers age 16 and older and able to lift bags, cases and containers up to 30 pounds. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service and communication skills
Line Cook. Flexible hours working with a great team. Must be able to prepare, portion and cook food products with competency in other areas of food preparation. Looking for team players. Previous experience desired.

EQUESTRIAN CENTER - Part Time STABLE WORKER.  The successful, dependable candidate will assist with barn chores, including cleaning stalls and paddocks, cleaning and filling water tubs, feeding the horses and blanketing when weather requires.  Additional duties may include assisting with pony rides and parties, trail rides and helping with shows and other special events.  Previous experience working with Equines required.
 
FAREWAYS  - Open Positions:  (all openings are for Part Time employment)

  • Bartender will mix and serve beverages at the Sports Bar and Grill.  Applicants must be at least 21 years old, willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.  Job requires superb customer service skills. One-two years’ experience required.  

  • Line Cook needed to accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products as well as prepare and portion food prior to cooking. One year experience is preferred along with good communication skills, ability to work flexible hours and a team spirit.  

  • Servers needed to assist with CafĂ© operations. Candidates must be 18 years or older and able to work flexible hours including weekends. Some restaurant experience preferred.  Good communication skills and team spirit important.

 
MAINTENANCE – Full Time Salaried Position -  GROUNDS FOREMAN  – Oversees maintenance of 200 acres of common areas including trash removal, beach care, building entrances and walkways, turf and plant management, park equipment, site furnishings, tree care/removal, dam maintenance, weed control and leaf removal programs. Min. HS diploma + 10 years exp in grounds maintenance industry.  Operational knowledge of equipment including backhoe, trencher, tractor, commercial mowers, etc. VA Chemical applications license with category attachments of 3A-ornamental control, 3B-turf pest control, 5A aquatic pest control-general and 6-right of way pest control.  Comprehensive knowledge of turf management, safety procedures, soils and amendments, insect/disease control, plant nutrition, pruning methods, grounds care chemicals and standard industry practices. Botany, landscape architecture and irrigation engineering experience.  Management experience required.
 
MAINTENANCEFull Time ROADS LABORER Position – Join the crew and help maintain community streets, rights-of-way and drainage systems.  Position operates vehicles and equipment as required to perform repairs. Also performs hole patching, installation of street signs, cutting back brush and repairing and cleaning culverts.  H S Diploma + 1 year experience in road maintenance operations required.
 
MAINTENANCE – Full time BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN needed to perform general maintenance and repair of building systems to include water, sewer, electrical, carpentry, heating, cooling and ventilation.  Must be able to work in all weather, move/lift up to 80 lbs.  At least two years facilities maintenance trade preferred or trade or technical school diploma or certification.

MAINTENANCE – Full-Time Groundskeeper. Join the crew and assist in performing general landscaping maintenance tasks for routine and special events. Must have experience in operation of basic grounds care equipment. Positions requires heavy lifting and working in all weather conditions.
