Community Center 

Located at 110 Sweetbriar Park Rd, Locust Grove

The Lake of the Woods Community Center is a building where the community can come together.

   Most LOWA Board of Directors meetings are held here, as well as providing additional meeting space for LOWA committees, clubs, and organizations. It also offers additional space for recreation and enables the expansion of community program activities while serving a greater number of our members. Each year, the LOW Players stage two theater productions in the Community Center.

A variety of classes are offered at the facility as well. Activities include bridge, basketball, billiards, pickleball and more. (Check the Lake Currents newsletter under the Calendar of Events for schedule and contact information).

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES TEAM:

The Community Activities Department manages many of the amenities and events that bring the Lake of the Woods community together. The department oversees the operations of the Community Center, Fitness Center, swimming pools, pavilions, and campgrounds, while planning and coordinating a variety of community events throughout the year. From the Independence Day Celebration and Fall Festival to the Christkindlmarkt and many other seasonal activities, the Community Activities team is dedicated to creating engaging experiences for residents of all ages.
