Board of Directors Candidate Petition Option
Interested in running for the LOWA Board of Directors but missed the nomination process? You can still get on the ballot by submitting a petition!
- Petitions must include signatures from at least 250 eligible LOWA voting members (one signature per lot)
- Must be submitted to the General Manager’s office by 4 PM on May 15
- Candidates must be property owners of record in good standing
All candidates who submit valid petitions receive the same rights and privileges as those nominated by the Nominating Committee.
The LOWA Board of Directors plays an important role in guiding our community, making decisions that impact amenities, budgets, policies, and long-term planning. Serving on the Board is an opportunity to bring your perspective, leadership, and collaboration to the table while helping strengthen the community we all share.
Board members serve a three-year term and are expected to attend meetings and actively participate in community initiatives. Any LOWA property owner of record in good standing is eligible to apply.

- Election Date: Held during the Annual Membership Meeting in September
