Progress Update June 13, 2025:
• Steady Construction crews are working on the pipeline located on Patrick Henry Court leading to the connection from the Hollyfield Park pipeline. There is an estimated 60 feet of pipeline construction left to complete the connection on Patrick Henry Court.
• Pipeline construction is complete between Hollyfield Park detention facility to Patrick Henry Court pipeline connection.
• The contractor (Steady Construction) continues to mitigate water runoff in the project zones from continuous wet weather and flooding.
• Rapidan Service Authority (RSA) has selected a contractor to complete the water main utility conflict resolution. The start date will depend on conditions within the project zone. For the safety of the crew and to ensure ground stability, work can only begin when the area is dry and free of stormwater runoff.
• Yorktown Boulevard (from Patrick Henry Court to Fairfax Lane) will remain closed until further notice.
• Hollyfield Park playground is closed and will remain closed until the project is completed.
• The pickleball and tennis courts and the ball field are open.
