LOW 04/15/2019 Week in Review Activities

With another week almost behind us the project is coming together nicely. The placement of finishes are starting to take place getting us another step closer to completion of the project.
Ongoing activities that are currently in progress include the following,

Site work activities,
Kelvic Construction’s subcontractor Stanley Brothers finished up the placement of all underground storm piping. Stanley graded the surrounding areas of the pool deck getting it ready for concrete placement after pool coping has been placed.
R.J. Biringer’s subcontractor Liquid continued placement of sidewalks around the facility. This work will continue to be ongoing over the next few weeks.
Tommy Wallace Electrical continued routing the exterior electrical conduits to their designated locations for powering of pool lights, and speakers.

Fitness Center Activities
Unlimited Plumbing completed the routing of the water feed, Backflow Preventer, and shut off valve that will supply the service to the coke machine located in the Snack Bar.
Miller Interiors continued the placement of remaining interior drywall, began finishing of interior drywall, and completed the hanging of all exterior hollow metal doors.
M.L. Straight began caulking, and priming of exterior hollow metal doors, and frames, and priming of interior drywall.
Wilsey Roofing continued the placement of exterior siding, and Soffit Board.
Tommy Wallace Electrical completed placement of remaining above ceiling Electrical , and Low Voltage conduit. Electrical connections were made to all ceiling mounted Exhaust Fans, and Space Heaters.
ICE completed the placement of all Space Heaters, and Exhaust Fans. Routing of Thermostat Wire was completed making everything ready for mechanical equipment placement next week. Mechanical Above Ceiling Rough In Inspection was had on Friday, and PASSED without any deficiencies.

Pump House Activities
M.L. Straight completed the application of Dry Fall Paint to the interior ceiling of the Pool Pump Room, along with the caulking, and priming of exterior hollow metal door, and frames. Straight began caulking and prep of exterior siding getting it ready for painting.
Wilsey Roofing continued the placement of remaining siding, and Soffit Board.

LOW 04/22/2019 Week in Preview


Site Activities
R.J. Biringer will continue the placement of concrete sidewalks, and start placement of concrete pool deck.
Down To Earth will be on site to begin placement of sod for stabilization around the Bio Retention Ponds so excavation of ponds can begin.
Kelvic Construction’s subcontractor Stanley Brothers will begin excavation of the Bio Retention Pond located behind the pool.

Fitness Center Activities

Miller Interiors will continuing hanging drywall ceilings, and finishing of those ceilings started on Saturday. They will continue placement of Acoustical Ceiling Grid that was also started this past Saturday.
M.L. Straight will place first coat of paint finish on drywall walls after point up has been completed. Straight will begin caulking, and painting of exterior siding, and trim.
Tommy Wallace Electrical will begin placement of electrical outlets, and switches.
Stafford Systems will begin placement of shower tiles in the Family Restroom.

Pool House Activities
Olympia Pools will begin placement of pool filters, and pumps
Wilsey Roofing will place roof shingles
M.L. Straight will continue caulking, and begin painting of exterior siding, and trim.

Pool Activities
Olympia Pools will begin placement of pool tile, and coping. They will perform a Hydro Test on all placed plumbing before continuing with equipment connecting.

Sounds to be expected with this week’s activities will continue to be much of the same regarding equipment backup alarms, and occasional banging of Dump Truck tailgates.

Traffic in the area will much of the same as well.
