Week In Review For The Week Of October 29 2018

This week, much as last week was a very busy, and productive one. The concrete contractor began the week with the placement of footing structural rebar in preparation for the placement of concrete on Tuesday. The rebar installation was completed Tuesday morning, followed by 123 yards of concrete being placed that afternoon. With the footings of the new facility placed, the crew of  R.J.Biringer Construction (Concrete Contractor) fabricated the pier forms on Wednesday at their shop, and were back on site Thursday to install them. Along with the fabrication of the pier forms, anchor bolt templates were cut, prepped, and installed with the pier forms. A partial pour was done on Thursday afternoon followed by the completion of the concrete placement for the piers being done on Friday with the aid of the pump truck. Final clean up/removal of all forms will be done on Monday of next week. With this task being completed R.J.Biringer will demobilize until it’s time to prep, and place the facilities  concrete slab on grade.
Olympia Pools completed the pool in wall plumbing installation on Monday. Stabilization/Flashing of the pool’s exterior wall took place on Wednesday. With this being completed, Olympia began the excavation, and installation of the pool’s under slab plumbing on Thursday. These plumbing lines will serve the pool’s supply, and return system.
Ramsey Masonry began mobilizing their equipment, and materials on Thursday. They will begin the laying of CMU Block on Monday of next week. Block will be placed along the building footings to the elevation of the slab on grade. Once this has been completed it will allow the plumbing, and electrical contractors to begin the rough in of all under slab utilities.

Week In Preview For The Week Of November 5,2018

Ramsey Masonry will begin the placement of CMU Block along the building’s footing to the elevation of slab on grade. The plumber’s, and electricians will also be on site in order to place sleeves through the CMU Block as its laid so that the plumbing lines and electrical conduits can be routed under the slab to their designed locations. Olympia Pools will continue the placement/completion of under slab plumbing lines, and began prepping for the placement of the pool’s concrete floor. Rustin Paving will mobilize to begin the placement of stone for the new parking lot followed by the placement of base asphalt.
Sounds to be expected will be those of site equipment in operation, and Dump trucks bringing materials to the site.
Traffic to be expected in the area will consist of dump trucks entering, and leaving the area of the construction entrance. May be heavy at times while the paving company is placing stone on the new parking lot.
