Project Update March 15, 2019

Week In Review For The Week Of March 11, 2019
We had another productive week thanks to the great weather that had been provided. With plenty of sunshine, and warm temperatures a lot was getting accomplished. The contractors, and their activities that took place this week include the following,
Tommy Wallace Electrical mobilized on site Tuesday and began placement of the facilities new service infrastructure. The Subcontractor for REC mobilized on Wednesday and took care of the boring and placement of the sleeve that will serve as the raceway to the new transformer to be set next week. REC was on site Friday and has placed the pad that will support the new transformer. Cables were pulled in Friday getting us another step closer to going hot by the end of next week.
Ramsey Masonry completed the placement of brick veneer and cast stone on the Fitness Center Building. Grouting of the CMU (concrete masonry unit) masonry hollow metal frames began Friday and will be completed by Tuesday of next week. Ramsey continued the placement of shower CMU walls located in the Pool House Building and the Family Restroom located in the Fitness Center Building. These walls will be completed by Tuesday of next week also.
Miller Interiors continued the framing of the interior walls of the Fitness Center Building. The framing of the Cupola began Tuesday and will be completed by the end of the weekend. Framing of the exterior soffits continued and will see its completion by the end of next week.
I.C.E Mechanical completed the placement of all above ceiling duct work, and finished up the week with the cutting in and placement of all exhaust duct vents on the roof structure of the Fitness Center.
Unlimited Plumbing continued the rough in/placement of above ceiling water lines located in the Fitness Center Building. Rough in of shower wall plumbing continued and will be completed by the middle of next week.
This concludes the brief description of activities that were performed this week.
Week In Preview For The Week Of March 18, 2019
Activities to be performed this week includes the following,
Tommy Wallace Electrical will begin the rough in of all Fitness Center interior walls.
Miller Interiors will continue the framing of the exterior soffits in the Fitness Center Building the move to the Pool House Building. The sheathing of the Cupola will be done after it’s inspection on Tuesday of next week.
I.C.E Mechanical will begin install of the exhaust duct located in the Pool House Building.
Ramsey Masonry will continue and finish the grouting of all CMU hollow metal door frames. They will finish cleaning up all their miscellaneous materials and debris before demobilization on Tuesday. Ramsey will return in a few weeks to complete the remaining placement of brick and cast stone on the 3 exterior columns that support the facilities roof structure overhang.
REC will set the facilities transformer, and make all final connections.
Kelvic Construction will mobilize and begin site grading at the pool location ,getting this area ready for Olympia’s return for coping install. They will continue moving forward with site grading getting everything ready for the concrete sidewalks, and flat work.
Sounds to be expected will include the following,
Site equipment backup alarms and equipment running. Occasional banging of dump truck tailgates are to be expected as well.
Traffic in the area will be a little heavy from day to day based on the removal of unsuitable souls and the trucking in of their replacement for grading.
