Project Update June 14, 2019
Reported by Wack General Contracting

LOW 06-10-2019 Week In Review

This week was filled with a lot of finalizing, and making ready for next week’s Grand Opening. Contractors were taking care of remaining trim out, and final adds. With the rain that was received this week, the site contractor could not complete all final grading of the site. Site final grading, and landscaping will be completed next Monday, and Tuesday. Now on to our Week In Review of activities that took place this week.

SITE WORK
Stanley Brothers made a site visit Monday to inspect conditions after Sunday’s rain. Site was too wet for grading to continue, so it was decided to recheck conditions on Wednesday. Again we had another heavy down pour which killed all chances of grading. Thursday afternoon we had yet another heavy down pour in the late afternoon that hindered chances of final grading for the week. Stanley Brothers was able to take care of excavating the ADA area by the Clubhouse for the sidewalk extension. Plans for working the weekend were discussed, but decided against after attempts late Friday afternoon were made to see if grading would be possible. The site was still a little to wet. Grading will continue Monday of next week.
R.J. Biringer finished up the forming, and prep of remaining stairs, and sidewalks this week. Placement of concrete was done Thursday, and Friday. Remaining concrete will be placed next week.
Rustin Paving was on site Tuesday, and Wednesday to complete final placement of all finish asphalt. Repairs were completed on Friday.
Down To Earth Landscaping started planting of new vegetation this week and was also hampered by the rain that was received. They made the most of it using wheelbarrows to transport plants for planting. They will complete remaining landscaping install next week.
Parking Signs and Lines took care of striping, placement of new parking blocks, and remaining signage on Wednesday, finishing up on Thursday afternoon.

BUILDING INTERIOR, and EXTERIOR
Wack GC continued with the clean up/ power washing of new concrete flatwork .
Dafore LLC took care of addressing some last minute details
ICE worked with the Commissioning Agency conducting inspections of the HVAC system.
We had the facility walk through with the architect, MEP Engineers, and Civil Engineer on Friday. Results were very positive. What Punch List there was will be given to the contractors for completion next week.

POOL WORK
Olympia continued the cleaning of the pool and placement/make ready of remaining operations equipment. Training/Turn Over will be done on Monday of next week.
Long Fencing took care of placement of remaining perimeter fencing around the new pool. Touch ups will be made on Monday of next week, along with the placement of the Breezeway Gate.

This concludes the brief description of activities that took place this week.
