CARC Update February 15, 2019

2/15/2019

Week In Review For 2/11/2019
This week got off to a wet start with rain both Monday, and Tuesday. Contractors mobilized back to work Wednesday picking up where they left off.
Ramsey Masonry continued placement of exterior CMU block on both the Fitness Center, and Pool House Building. This activity carried them through the remainder of the week. CMU placement is about 90% complete.
B.G. Crane’s crew continued installation of remaining Bar Joist bridging, and placement of metal roof decking. On Thursday we had the first of two steel inspections by the third party agency DEA. Everything passed without any deficiencies noted. Bar Joist bridging install was completed on Friday, and the metal roof decking placement after Friday is about 85% complete.
Both Tommy Wallace Electrical, and Unlimited Plumbing continued their frequent visits to the project this week placing electrical conduit/boxes, and plumbing pipe for supply, and vents as needed in the block walls. Both of these activities are about 90% complete as well.
With a couple of good days at the beginning of next week all above activities will be completed. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Week in Preview For 2/18/2019
This weeks activities will consist of the following, Ramsey Masonry will complete the exterior, and interior CMU placement of both buildings. They will begin the brick veneer placement on the Pool House Building.

With the CMU block placement complete we will have Creative Conservation on site Monday to begin prep, and placement of the buildings waterproof air barrier. This product is applied to the exterior of the CMU walls.
B.G. Crane will complete the placement of all metal roof decking, and miscellaneous metal angle, and channel along the roof edge. The final inspection will be had around Wednesday or Thursday. This will finish out their scope regarding building erection.
With the roof structure being completed we will bring back the concrete contractor R.J. Biringer and all column base plates will be grouted on Wednesday, and all column block outs will be placed on Thursday along with all Housekeeping concrete pads for equipment.
Miller Construction will be on site this week to begin the placement of roof sheathing (3/4 Plywood). This activity puts us another step closer to having the new facility dried in. While on site they will complete the setting of all remaining Hollow Metal Door frames of both buildings.
Tommy Wallace Electrical will complete all electrical conduit/boxes placement in CMU walls.
Unlimited Plumbing will complete all plumbing pipe placement in CMU walls.
Sounds to be expected will continue to be the same. Equipment engine running, and equipment backup alarms. Traffic to be expected will be light, with occasional deliveries from contractors vendors.
