Update - February 7, 2025

• Crews have completed tree cutting and removal at LOWA Lots 707 and 709 Yorktown Blvd. to clear space for the stormwater basin.
• Excavation for the stormwater basin at LOWA Lots 707 and 709 Yorktown Blvd. began on 1/30 and is expected to finish by 2/10, weather permitting.
• The Contractor (Steady Construction) has finished removing trees along Patrick Henry Court and Yorktown Blvd. for the drainage pipeline.
• Steady Construction will begin pipeline construction on Patrick Henry Court on 2/10.
• To prepare for pipeline work, crews have placed Jersey Wall barriers on Patrick Henry Court. The barriers reduce traffic to a single lane, so please proceed with caution.
• Digging is complete at the Hollyfield water detention facility, the contractor is now removing excess material from the basin.
• The drainage connection between Hollyfield and Patrick Henry Court is under construction by the contractor.
• Installation of the micro pool within the water detention facility in Hollyfield Park has been rescheduled to occur after the stormwater basin on Yorktown Blvd. is complete.
• Hollyfield Park playground is closed and will remain closed until the project is completed.
• Pickleball courts and tennis courts remain open.
