Steady Construction crews have completed the pipeline located on Patrick Henry Court leading to the connection from the Hollyfield Park pipeline except for the crossover section at the intersection of Patrick Henry Court and Yorktown Blvd. which includes a utility relocation. That work will be scheduled in conjunction of the water main relocation on Yorktown Blvd adjacent to the smaller water detention facility.
Finish grading and bank stabilization will be completed in the next two weeks of the water detention facility located in Hollyfield Park.
The contractor (Steady Construction) continues to mitigate water runoff in the project zones from continuous wet weather and flooding.
Rapidan Service Authority (RSA) utility conflict project start date depends on conditions within the project zone. For the safety of the crew and to ensure ground stability, work can only begin when the area is dry and free of stormwater runoff for multiple days.
Yorktown Boulevard (from Patrick Henry Court to Fairfax Lane) remains closed.
Hollyfield Park playground is closed and will remain closed until the project is completed.
The pickleball and tennis courts and the ball field are open.
