Patrick Henry Court Drainage Project Update 9/19:
• Paving is delayed and will not be completed until after the Patrick Henry Court pipeline construction is complete.
• Work on the drainage pipeline crossovers along Patrick Henry Court is underway but cannot be completed until RSA relocates and upsizes a water main that conflicts with this portion of the project. RSA recently determined that this water main must be upsized, requiring a bidding process and seven days’ notice once a contractor is selected. This change will delay completion of the drainage pipeline crossovers on Patrick Henry Court by approximately 3–4 weeks.
• Hollyfield Water Detention Facility-final grading, setting a drainage structure, and installment of riprap is in progress.
• Yorktown Blvd. Water Detention Facility- riprap installation in progress and grading is complete.
• After the Patrick Henry Court pipeline crossovers are completed, final cleanup of project sites and demobilization of contractor equipment will begin.
• Yorktown Boulevard from Patrick Henry Court to Fairfax Lane is open to traffic.
• Erosion and sediment control fencing will remain in place until new grass is established.
• The Hollyfield Park playground remains closed, with plans to reopen in early October.
• The pickleball and tennis courts and the ball field are open.
