Spotswood & Sweetbriar Playgrounds Open!
All other LOWA Playgrounds Remain Temporarily Closed for Maintenance
LOWA's recent annual inspection of the playgrounds indicated that all playgrounds need supplemental or updated ground cover to meet new American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.
All other LOWA Playgrounds are still closed until further notice.
The temporary closures apply to the play structures at:
Sweetbriar Playground (Swingset)
Clubhouse Beach Tot Lot
Greensprings Playground
Keaton's Lake Playground
Hollyfield Playground
Campground Swingset
The closures do not apply to fields, courts or open areas.
Repair of these playgrounds is top priority and LOWA plans to have all of these playgrounds re-opened as soon as possible. LOWA will update members daily on the playground maintenance progress.
Each year LOWA has a Certified Playground Safety Inspector evaluate our playgrounds for safety.
