 The
Community is fortunate to have two pool facilities available
to the membership and their guests. The Clubhouse Pool
Complex is located adjacent to the LOW Clubhouse, Beach
and Main Lake. It serves as a focal point for individual
swimming and lessons. In addition to the pool a complete
shower/bath facility and beach bathroom complete the
facility. The Clubhouse Pool is "L" shaped with a new slide for the 2007 pool season. The facility is manned by certified
lifeguards. A separate "baby pool" area is available
for toddlers.
 The
second pool facility is known as Sweetbriar Pool. Located
in the Sweetbriar Park Complex this rectangular shaped
pool provides diving and is protected by lifeguards.
The Community has a swim club, the Barracudas, who compete
in the region and use this pool for practices and meets.
The bath/shower facility serves the pool.
Both pools
date back to 1969. The Clubhouse pool mechanical and
surface systems were replaced in 1996 and new skimmer lines in 2007. The new whitecoat
and tile will provide many years of additional service.
A handicap lift is available at this facility. The Sweetbriar
Pool was replaced in 2000. The new pool is a rectangular
pool with six swim lanes for competition. A ½ meter board
is inplace at the deep end. The facility building was
remodeled and new decking and fencing were included in
the replacement along with the baby pool.

amenity must sign in and a fee, or membership, is
required.

pavilion picnic complex, Community Center and soccer fields.

- Clubhouse Pool
- upon entry at the front gate go straight through
the intersection on Lake of the Woods Parkway to the
Clubhouse parking area, pool is on your left.
- Sweetbriar Pool
- from the front gate, turn right on Lakeview Parkway to
Yorktown Blvd. Follow Yorktown Blvd to Freedom Road
(on right) and follow the signs to Sweetbriar Park.

Pool Rental
Groups (over
10 individuals) must get approval from the pool manager
prior to their visit. Parties are to be scheduled with
the Activity & Wellness Director after normal pool
hours.
Committee
Support
The
Pool Committee is an active group of volunteers who work
closely with the Activity and Wellness Director to ensure
our facilities are safe and a benefit to the members.
New members are always welcomed.
