Campground

Property owners and registered tenants who have paid their current annual assessment can rent a campground site. To rent a campsite, property owners must complete a “Campsite Agreement” and pay the appropriate fee for the length of stay. Guests of members may rent a campsite for a period not to exceed 15 days if the sponsoring member completes the form and agrees to accept full responsibility for their guests. The Campground has 43 campsites distributed between two sections. Renovations in 2004 created more pull-through sites for larger camping units. These are sites available for seasonal, monthly, weekly, and daily camper usage, as well as sites for tent camping. The Campground is also available for use by community clubs and organizations for special events. Reservations are necessary, but no fee is charged.

The Campground offers water and electrical connections at each campsite. Gray water must be properly disposed of at the dump station located adjacent to the handicap-accessible bathrooms. The Campground is open from March 1 to November 30. Inquiries should be made to the Association Office. Campground amenity fees are published in the LOWA annual fee schedule.

Campground features include a picnic pavilion, swings and slides, a volleyball court, playground, and bathroom/laundry facilities for use by campers. All LOW amenities are available for use by campers, including the golf course, lakes, beaches, and parks. Guest/member fees are charged at some of the amenities, and the sponsoring member should accompany all guests.
